Our Technicians are licensed and Certified Tradesmen and they offer a diverse range of repairs including electronic engine diagnostic, complete engine overhauls, suspension work, laser suspension alignment, powertrain overhauls, new equipment rig ups and much more.We are specializes in rebuilding, modifying, and repairing heavy equipment (construction equipment, rock crushers, shaker screens, railroad maintenance equipment, dredge winch drums, Pettibone cranes, etc.). We offer small to large scale machining including horizontal lathe and vertical lathe (VTL) work, horizontal boring mill (HBM) work, CNC machining (lathe, vertical milling, horizontal milling), hydraulic press work, a CNC burn table and more. We also repair components of production machines in factories (choppers, shredders, balers, punch press, injection molding, press brake, airlocks, inlet/outlet rotors, vacuum pumps, gear boxes, hydraulics, etc). We have a large-scale machine shop to fabricate replacement parts as needed. If we can, we will come and fix your problem on-site. We also do a significant amount of machining of new products per the customer’s print, from all over the country. Products that we machine, per print, include centrifugal pump housings, piston pumps, components from air conveying systems, cooling tower piping, and frame-like weldments, just to name a few! Our customers frequently bring us prints or sketches of parts they need us to manufacture.

Truck and Trailer Repair
The backbone of Austral is our truck and trailer service department. We have 24hr on call roadside assistance, a necessary service in this remote part of the country. Our services include: Safeties, PM Service, air systems, breaks and break system components, 5th wheels and pins, air conditioning, emission testing, injectors, injection pumps, transmissions, rear-ends, hydraulics, electrical, steering structure, frame repair, U-bolts and springs, hubs, walking beam bushings, all suspension and torque arm bushings and much more for most makes and models.

Fleet Repair and Maintenance
Austral maintains a variety of fleets in the transportation sector, including: government, railway, petroleum/pressurized fuel, delivery (dry and refrigerated), postal services. We can track and schedule preventative maintenance and provide documentation and maintenance records. This is a sure fire way to economically keep your equipment or fleet running when you need it. Welding
We can manage the repair and reinforcement of most heavy equipment and truck/trailer needs through our welding shop. We weld steel, cast, stainless, aluminum as well as pressurized vessels and tanks. Austral has a mobile welding truck to work offsite or to support those heavier jobs.

Mobile Abrasive Blasting
One of the many preventative maintenance solutions offered by Austral is abrasive blasting of trailer frames. Blasting off old paint and rust will enhance the visual inspections and identify cracks not seen otherwise. Repainting the frame after repairs will reduce future deterioration. Our equipment is mobile and we can come to where you are working. From trailers to bridges we have the capabilities to provide a wide array of services. Austral uses only glass bead or soda blasting solving many of the health and environmental concerns associated with silica and other abrasives.
